Default Video Problem, please help

I am having a problem with GW that occurs when I change zones. When I change zone (not always, but usually), the textures are not meshed properly, and as such come out "blocky," where each block of texture is separate and apart from all the others. This is not a serious gameplay issue, and it reverts back when I change the texture or post process settings, and sometimes on it's own, and I don't like having to change the settings each time I go into a mission, or PVP zone. It's more an annoyance than anything.

If anyone knows how to fix this, I would be much obliged, or, if not how to fix it, at least why it happens. I would like some sort of explanation.

Make sure graphics drivers are updated, make sure your card isnt over heating.

I know for some cards, overheating can lead to visual artifacts (the blocks you see).

That may be a driver problem. Are you using a Nvidia card? If so, what driver release are you using?

2.6 Processor
1GB RAM
Geforce 6800GT

I well exceed the system requirements for GW, I have a 520 watt power supply, and several case fans. I have the most advanced EVGA Geforce Drivers (81.98).

This is not a problem of weakness; I believe it to be a problem of compatiblity. I know a great deal about hardware, and have tried several different drivers for my card.

Do you have any other ideas?

Have the latest Motherboard Chipset Driver, have you only just got the game? Or did it work previously or after you've removed/added/installed something?

And try rolling back to earlier drivers.
